This was soooo cute! We went to see Mawmaw today and when we walked in we could smell the wonderful aroma of chocolate! We went in and greeted her and made our way to the living room to catch up. Ashton, as always, went to play on the computer and Nicholas was so overwhelmed by the sweet, sweet smell, grabbed Mawmaw, took her to the kitchen and put her hands on the cake she just made. She picked the cake up and to show him and he pushed her back to the living room, with cake in hand. He took her to her chair, turned her around, pushed her hip downward for her to sit, did a small happy dance and took off. Mawmaw started to get up to take the cake back but told her to wait and see what he does. Where here a rustling coming from the silverware drawer then his running back with the biggest spoon he could find! What was a grandmother to do with this beautiful cake she made for her church family? Let him dig in!
After a few wonderful bites of he started to feed her.....
Then Ashton heard the commotion and joined in! Mawmaw took them in the kitchen and then feed them properly.
Later on that night Ashton felt she needed to step back a few years and do something she hasn't done in a while....

How cute is this! What really cracks me up is those shoes! She loves to do things that make people laugh! She gets that from her mommy. She has the best little heart and a great big imagination. After she turned back into herself, she proceeded to create her own alphabet. That she gets from her father.
And if the Chocolate cake wasn't enough, Ashton and mawmaw made turtle brownies! They were so cute in the kitchen baking together.....

And, of course, after they were done, we indulged again!
While they were hard at work baking, Nicholas was downstairs at pawpaw's desk saying his alphabet but what caught my attention was that he had a straw and bending it in the shape of the letters! His first letter was "Z" and then he made the shapes "I,J,L,V" and the funny one was "K". He kept trying and at some point and some how it did resemble the letter!
