We woke up this morning to a terrible smell! It smelt like cooked onion all through out the house. My first thought was it was from the Fajitas I made the night before, but it was way to strong. Then I remembered. Nicholas was playing in my basket of onions and was rolling the pearl onions around in the floor! After I picked them up (minus one apparently) he started to play in the kitchen floor in front of the air vent under the sink. I catch him ever so often putting his cars or small toys in there. I dig them out and tell him "No!" but if you knew Nicholas, you would know that word is not in his vocabulary! So after I got him away from it I looked and didn't see anything and then continued doing what I was doing. So after I realized that the smell was getting stronger, I knew then it wasn't last night dinner. He had rolled an onion into the air vent! And now the heat from the unit is blowing an onion scent through out the house!!! I took the vacuum cleaner and stuck it down the hole and got nothing! It must really be down there! Now everything in this house is going to smell like onions!! Furniture, clothes, curtains!!! Help!!!!
