Our first small trip in Texas. The Alamo in San Antonio. Dispite the heat, we had a good time. Our first stop was the Buckhorn Saloon. This place was great! So authentic but the food....not so good. Then we walked over to the Alamo. It was so pretty and one day (when it's not so hot) I would like to go back and learn more about the history of this remarkable place, but when a Hispanic tells you when you get out of the car to be careful because it's so hot, get back in the car and crank the AC!! Directly across the Alamo was the River Walk. It was amazing!! I really want to go back there one day to either have lunch or dinner. It was completely lined with restaurants and little shops. Beautiful!! After we left there we went out to eat at Dave and Busters and there also, it was hot! When we asked the waitress why and she said the AC went out. Yay us! All in all we had a wonderful time!! Especially when Nicholas got on the bike with Ashes in he game room! I have never seen him so excited!!
