I have never understood the real meaning behind the the phrase bittersweet, that's all I can say for my friend Joy's day today. My dear sweet friend lost her mother today and it is also her birthday. the hard part about this is, other than losing her mother, is that she is in the Philippines and Joy is here in the states. I could not imagine not being with my family on such a day, but I know in my friends heart she has peace now because she knows her mother is no longer suffering. We love you Joy and know that your sweet mother will always be remembered.
